Bumpa bumpa.

I'm not a fan of this kind of bass myself, but I must say that you succeeded in making a remix without failing like so many others do. The whole "lol added drums to a song I had lying around in my hard drive" mentality.
You also made this interesting to listen to without the lyrics. Mission Completed.

Ruddy88 responds:

much appreciated, i will try and get the lyrics to it soon, im hoping my mate can write something that fits the original song, maybe even get the a capella of the original for a chorus, very hilltop hoods inspired.
by the way, extra thanks to showing appreciation and feedback to a style you dont neccessarily like, i hate when people just attack your music because they dont like the genre.

Oh, this is nice.

I like African instruments. Or ethnical instruments in general. It gives the music a certain flavor. This wasn't just African instruments though, was it? It sounded somewhat Indian as well, in some parts. The sitar, mainly.

Oh, in some parts I think it sounds... empty. Like there's missing something. It might just be me though. I like.

S3C responds:

thanks! sensitive ears hear (pun intended) I see, indeed I used more than African instruments. I wanted to instill some "dryness" into the track with a grainy sounding plucked instrument. My first thought was a Kora, but I doubt I could find one anywhere- I think the tamburas (similar to a sitar in sound :P) worked well enough for what I had in mind. I also threw in some panpipes which is indigenous mainly to South America, to my knowledge. I needed a tribal sounding instrument that could sustain the main melody. Then there's cabassas and timbales to carry out small percussion parts which are used primarily in Latin music.

thanks for your comment athius, i like this review!

Great job, you person there.

I must say, I haven't laughed like this since... well, I don't remember since when, but I really liked the text. The only thing that bothers me is that very abrupt ending. Other than that, I can't find anything else that is to be pointed out. (Also I don't have the heart to point out anything else)

sonicmega responds:

Abrupt ending = sad me, too. I keep wanting to finish this, but procrastination and actual other events keep me from it. Who knows, maybe sometime soon I'll manage to light a fire under my ass.
